Christian Martial Arts exhibition will visit Second Slavic Baptist Church on August 28th at 8:30 pm at our youth service.
Camp Skala Registration
As you might recall, due to unforeseen circumstances we were forced to cancel this years summer youth camp. We have a wonderful opportunity to go camping with the PCSEBA labor day weekend (September 2-5) at Camp Skala. More info about the location and program at the Camp Skala Website.
The regular price of Camp Skala is $30 if you register before August 15th, and it goes up the closer you get to the camp dates. As a member or child of a member of Second Slavic Baptist Church, you qualify for a discount and can have food prepared for you by our volunteers (regular Skala campers must cook for themselves). The cost for you is $50 with a deadline of August 28th. We will not be able to accept any more applications after this date. Applications will be available starting August 12th from Vika Komarov, and must be submitted with payment to her only. If you register on the Skala website, we will not be able to provide you with a refund or change you over to our church discount.
Summer Mission 2011
Our missionary team will be leaving to Russia this Sunday (July 10th). Most will be returning on August 5th. Keep them in your prayers.

Summer Camp Announcement
We regret to inform you that due to unseasonably cold and unpredictable weather, this year’s summer camp has been cancelled. This was a very difficult decision to make so far into the preparation phase of the project. The campsite we had reserved back in November of last year is currently under 12 feet of snow, with more forecasted to fall this weekend. There were no suitable campsites available for the dates announced, and no alternative dates available with adequate staffing. Anyone who has already submitted an application and made payment will receive a full refund.
