Having played intercollegiate
soccer, I’ve never lost my love for “The Beautiful Game.” I especially enjoy watching the English Premier League. One reason is the skill and speed with which the game is played there. Also, I love the way the fans sing in support of their beloved “sides.” For instance, Liverpool has for years had “You’ll Never Walk Alone” as its theme. How moving to hear 50,000 fans rise as one to sing the lyrics of that old standard! It’s an encouragement to players and fans alike that together they will see each other through to the end. Walk alone? Never.
This sentiment has meaning for everyone. Because each of us is made for community, isolation and loneliness are among the most painful of human experiences. During painful times, our faith is vital.
The child of God never needs to fear abandonment. Even if people turn on us, friends forsake us, or circumstances separate us from loved ones, we are never alone. God has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Heb. 13:5). This is not just a nice tune or clever lyrics offering an empty sentiment. It is the promise of God Himself to those who are the objects of His love. He is there—and He isn’t going away.
With Christ, you will never walk alone.
God’s unseen presence comforts me,
I know He’s always near;
And when life’s storms besiege my soul,
He says, “My child, don’t fear.” —D. De Haan
God’s presence with us is one of His greatest presents to us.

Специалисты работают сутками, чтобы найти вакцину от этой инфекции. Всё безрезультатно. США, Азия, Африка, Европа, Австралия. Смертельная болезнь охватила весь мир. Testimony of Juley Moskalets

This is a very powerful testimony about drug addiction. If you or your friends are suffering from drug addiction, read on. If not, this is a great encouraging word.
“My name is Juley Moskalets. I’ve been an addict for two and a half years. My life has never changed so dramatically as it did in these years.Sometimes I would see how much I physically degraded in the mirror. I never thought this would happen to me. I never believed that I would one day have to admit to my loved ones that I Juley Moskalets am an addict. But it has happened; I soon faced reality and found myself in a dead end not knowing how to get out. I was scared to ask for help, I didn’t know how to. I just realized that I couldn’t keep living like this anymore. I saw what my life style was doing to my family; 
I saw the pain in my mother’s eyes. I knew how much this was hurting her, and every time I walked out on her, her eyes were filled with tears begging me to stay home. I felt the most painful guilt you could ever imagine as if I had just watched her die. But then as soon as I would get my dose and do my drugs it seemed as if nothing ever happened. I felt wonderful, satisfied, and complete, drugs were all I needed, and they were all I wanted. I was careless to what my dad would say or anyone else. Drugs made my feelings numb and numb to all the people, and the things that have ever mattered in my life. I couldn’t believe that this has happened to me. I hated myself more than anything in the world and only because I knew the truth, I can’t get out… I couldn’t stop doing these drugs, they became my life. I stepped over all the boundaries you could think of,I’ve used every lie you could find, I hurt every person in my family, and worst of all I soberly knowingly turned my back to God. Every day I lived I knew that if Jesus would come that minute, I was going to hell. I cant even count how many times I would come home, get on my knees and beg God to forgive me, I would say, “Jesus please take my sole right now! I don’t want to go to hell! Please… I can’t stop!! Just let me die so I could go to heaven right now.” it was because I knew that as soon as I would wake up in the morning, I had to do drugs! I felt like satan had every chain possible around my whole body holding me as his slave. Every day was torture, every day my life was at risk. I didn’t know what to do or how to break free. I knew that there was a God, but he seemed so far away. I knew that seeking help from church was always a possibility but I felt so embarrassed and I couldn’t let everyone find out that I have been using drugs. And not only that I have been using but also that I can’t stop on my own. At that point in my life I noticed many of my friends that I was hanging out with started to get concerned for me and have told me that I need to find a way to stop, but I just looked at them smiling and said, “I’m going to be a drug addict for the rest of my life, I love drugs!” READ MORE »
Богач и Лазарь

В порфиру одевался и виссон,
Он очень сытно проживал свой век
И каждодневно пиршествовал он.
Был так же нищий, Лазарь его звали,
Он болен был и у ворот лежал,
Весь в ступьях, весь оборван, без сандалей,
Лежал и крошки за богатым подбирал.
А мимо псы бродячие ходили,
Лизали струпья на его ногах….
И умер Лазарь, тело схоронили
И дух его вознесся в облака.
Он отнесён был ангелами Бога
На лоно Авраама отдыхать,
Закончилась печальных дней дорога,
Не будет больше на земле страдать.
А вскоре богача похоронили,
Но он попал в ужасный, страшный ад!
Он там был в муках, в огненном горниле,
Где души многих грешников горят!
Подняв глаза, Авраама он увидел
И Лазаря на лоне красоты…
И, возопив, просил – умилосердись,
Аврааме, отче, надо мною ты!
Здесь жаром вся душа моя пылает,
Пошли, Аврааме, Лазаря ко мне,
Пусть перст в воде намочит, я страдаю…
И прохладит язык мой, что в огне.
Но Авраам сказал ему : – О, чадо!
Ты в прошлой жизни получил своё:
Еду, богатство, роскошь и наряды,
А Лазарь – злое, больше ничего.
Здесь ныне утешается бедняжка,
А ты теперь страдаешь и вопишь,
Твоей душе насытившейся тяжко,
Теперь ты жаждуешь, теперь скорбишь.
А сверх того, утверждена меж нами
Большая пропасть, что не перейдёшь!
От вас сюда не перейти ногами,
Да и отсюда к вам не попадёшь!
Богач сказал : – Пусть будет он свидетель,
Пошли его ко мне в мой отчий дом,
Есть братья у меня, у них есть дети…
Чтоб не пришли сюда они потом!
Сюда, где муки страшные повсюду,
Где жажда душит, мучает внутри…
Пусть Лазарь засвидетельствует всюду,
Как здесь душа пылает и горит!
Сказал ему в ответ Аврааме слово:
Там на земле есть Моисей у них,
Пророки есть, закон нести готовы
Для всех земных, пусть слушаются их!
Богач сказал: – Нет, отче, не услышат…
Вот, если мёртвый Лазарь к ним придёт,
Они поймут, что Лазарь послан свыше,
Тогда покается пред Господом народ!
Авраам сказал: – Нет, посылать не буду!
Если пророков слушать не хотят,
То, если мёртвый к ним придёт отсюда,
Хоть и воскреснет – душ не обратят!

О,сколько Бог чудес вершил от века!
Великий Бог, Он море раздвигал!
Столпом ходил…, но сердце человека
Слабело в вере, всё он забывал….
Покайтесь, люди! С Богом примиритесь!
Умершие, как чудо – не придут!
Пока не поздно к Богу обратитесь,
Что б, как богач, вам не гореть в аду!

Я был верующим уже десять лет и был президентом христианской миссии у нас на Урале (и, по милости Божьей, до сих пор возглавляю эту организацию). Но вместе с тем в моей жизни происходили ужасные вещи.
Еще до уверования я стал изучать компьютерные технологии и впоследствии даже окончил институт с Красным Дипломом по профессии инженера-компьютерщика. Грех, который был в моем сердце – это компьютерные игры. Я проводил все больше и больше времени за этими играми. И так год за годом. Я начинал с очень безобидных вещей, говорил себе, что это всего лишь игры, ничего страшного.
Но игры становились все менее безобидными. Сегодня, анализируя технологии и индустрию компьютерных игр, я пришел к выводу, что большая часть компьютерных игр напрямую вовлекают играющих в оккультный мир, и даже – посвящению душ сатане. Остальная часть этих игр полна насилия, крови и убийств. Я прихожу к выводу, что дьявол очень мощно использует эту сферу нашего века для того, чтобы увлекать сотни, тысячи, миллионы молодых людей. Однажды в субботу, перед тем, как идти домой, пастор решил позвонить своей жене. Было уже почти 10 вечера, но жена не брала трубку. Пастор выждал двадцать гудков, но жена так и взяла трубку. Через некоторое время он снова набрал домашний номер, и жена сразу же ответила. Пастор спросил, почему она так долго не поднимала трубку, когда он звонил в первый раз, но она ответила, что никакого звонка до этого не было.
Этот случай был бы забыт, если бы через два дня в кабинете пастора не раздался телефонный звонок. Звонивший мужчина, говорил о каком-то звонке с этого номера в субботу вечером. Пастор долго не мог понять, о чем идёт речь. Тогда мужчина сказал:
— Кто-то позвонил с вашего номера, но я так и не поднял трубку…
Внезапно пастор вспомнил о случившемся с ним казусе, и сразу же извинился за то, что побеспокоил этого человека. Он объяснил ему, что хотел позвонить домой, но, видимо, набрал неверный номер…
Звонивший мужчина, недослушав, перебил служителя:
— Разрешите мне рассказать, что тогда произошло. Видите ли, в субботу вечером я собрался покончить с жизнью. Но перед тем, как совершить намеченное, я обратился к Богу в молитве, сказав, что если Он есть и если Он слышит меня, то пусть подаст мне знак. Именно в этот момент у меня зазвонил телефон. Я подошёл к аппарату и увидел на цифровом табло телефона надпись: «From: Almighty God…» [От: Господа Всемогущего…]. Я целую минуту со слезами смотрел на звонящий телефон и не смел поднять трубку.
Церковь, в которой служил этот пастор, называется «Almighty God Tabernacle» [Господа Всемогущего Обитель]. Именно эта надпись была зарегистрирована в качестве «caller ID» в местной цифровой телефонной станции, которая и вывела ее на экран телефона этого мужчины.

A Fatal Flood
A river was in flood following heavy rain. The authorities warned the people staying near the river that a heavy flood was imminent and exhorted them to vacate their residences immediately and move to a safe camp, carrying only the most essential articles with them. First they sent a truck to carry the people. Most of them escaped in the truck. One person was adamant that he would not follow them. He declared that he had a firm faith in God and was confident that God would save him.
The water from the overflowing river filled the lower areas and covered the roads. A rescue team was sent in a country boat in search of the remaining people to carry them to a safe place. The boatmen rowed along the roads which were now submerged and announced their mission, inviting those trapped in their houses to escape in the boat. The ‘believer’ still refused to enter the boat, repeating that he would continue to stay and pray till God came to save him. The boatmen left with the remaining people. The river burst its banks and flooded the valley. The overflowing water covered the houses one by one. The believer reached the terrace of his house and raising his hands to the sky, continued his prayer.
The final rescue team surveyed the flood-hit area in a helicopter. They found the lone man on the terrace of his house and lowered a rope to him, shouting through a loudspeaker that he should hold on to the rope for being pulled into the helicopter and thus save himself. But the man was obstinate and adamant. He rejected their requests and refused to be saved. He stayed there, expecting God’s direct intervention to save him. The last team left, abandoning the adamant believer. The floods soon covered his house and he was drowned to death. Reaching heaven, he complained to God that He did not come to save his faithful servant in spite of his fervent prayers. God replied, “Son, I had come to you thrice – first in the truck, then in the boat and finally, in the helicopter. But you foolishly turned down my requests. You wasted the three chances I gave you to save your life.”
A person used to pray every day that he may win the first prize in a lottery. He was very sad as his prayer was not answered for a long time. Once he complained to God for not answering his only prayer. God told him in a dream, “Son, I am ready to grant your wish; but please purchase a lottery ticket first.”
That shows the prerequisite for an answer to our prayers: God wants our participation to perform a miracle in our life. When Jesus wanted to feed the thousands, He asked, “How much bread have you got? Go and see” {Mark 6:38}. He then accepted the boy’s gift of five loaves and two fish and multiplied them miraculously.

Relationship
Reaffirm your relationship with God. He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord Require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Review
Look back on the past year and ask to show you areas of sin and weakness that might have hindered your spiritual growth. Search me , O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
